The Key Worker Group – can we help you?

As we approach the end of our first year of full trading at The Key Worker Group, we thought we would take a look back over what has been a fantastic year.

The Key Worker Group was founded in 2020 with an aim to provide expert mortgage and protection advice to key workers in all sectors including police, NHS, fire service, armed forces and many more. Over our first year we are proud to say we have done exactly that – we have guided new police constables on the journey of buying their first home, we have helped NHS staff buy a home utilising the Help to Buy scheme and we have provided specialist advice to teachers who needed to take advantage of specialist lender criteria specific to their role as newly qualified teachers.

We have helped a huge number of clients achieve their dreams of owning a bigger house with more room, buying their first home, purchasing a holiday let with retirement commutations. We have helped to protect these investments with high quality life and general insurance products that protect them despite higher risk employment.

We achieved the above despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic; it taught us that there are so many key workers out there who kept the country running in a national pandemic from the ambulance technicians to the heroes delivering meals in their community and everything in between.

To show our appreciation for the Key Workers of Britain we committed to donating £10 from every client we serviced in October to charity. After a close contest on our social media accounts between Care of Police Survivors and NHS Charities Together, we were chuffed to be able to donate £100 to the NHS who have been worked so hard in these times. We have been keeping track of all our cases since then so please keep an eye out for our next charity fundraiser which will be launching shortly.

This was a fantastic way for us to give back, but we want to do more. Are there any causes that you know of that we can help? Please get in touch through our website if you think we can help.

In the meantime, please spread the word far and wide that The Key Worker Group is here to help, and we provide free advice to key workers and their families!
